Political Economy Research Group in Polsis
This large research group attempts to bridge the gaps between comparative and international political economy, and positive and normative political economy. It comprises members whose work focuses on changing patterns of economic integration at both the regional and international levels; the changing global structure of finance, credit and debt; the history of economic thought; competing models of economic exchange; the varieties of capitalism literature; the political economy of welfare; the new economy; and international economic development.
There is a regular reading group to discuss work at the cutting edge of the field or to discuss members’ work prior to its submission to journals. In addition, the group has organised a number of events, including conferences and roundtables. Link to Political Economy Research Group
